Before Carol Danvers became Captain Marvel, she was a member of the United States Airforce making her a military soldier. If Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel ever found themselves at odds, Wonder Woman could simply use the powers she obtained from Ares and control Danvers, defeating her before any blows would be thrown.

Based on her established power of being able to control soldiers, Wonder Woman could also beat Captain America and War Machine with a simple thought. If Wonder Woman didn’t have the ability she inherited from the God of War, the fight between her and Captain Marvel would certainly be an interesting one.
